Three-Layer Composite Contact (TLCC)
I. The composition of the TLCC
The three-layer composite contact is composed of the following three layers: the top silver alloy, the middle copper-based alloy, and the bottom 5% silver solder alloy. The final contact product was obtained by combining the three layers through a special heat rolling technique.
II. The features of the TLCC
The three-layer composite contact has good wear-resistance, ablation resistance, and fusion welding-resistant. Thus, it can keep the good oxidation resistance of silver alloy, as well as a long servicing life and a good fusion welding-resistance characteristic. It’s of reliable performance, low cost, and environmentally friendly electric contact material.
III. A wide range of applications of the TLCC
It is adapted to the circuit with AC50Hz, and rated voltage from 0V to 400V for the breakers. The rated current are 63A, 100A, 225A, 400A, to 630A respectively, for the CM1 series molded case circuit breakers, or the CJX2 series AC contactors.
